As the umbrella association of qualified animal rescue services in the German-speaking region, our goal is to promote the professional rescue, care and protection of pets, wildlife and large animals – and to strengthen recognition of this important work in society, politics and legislation.
Whether at accidents, medical emergencies or disaster operations at home and abroad – our animal rescue services and their dedicated responders stand ready around the clock.
As an umbrella association we support qualified animal rescue services nationwide – through training standards, advocacy at the political level, disaster relief and networking for large-scale interregional operations.
The association supports qualified animal rescue services through advocacy, standardisation, training and disaster relief – networked nationwide.
Since 2022 we have been organised together with the Deutscher Tierschutzbund e.V. in a nationwide operational cooperation for professional animal rescue – prepared for disaster situations such as floods, fires or epidemics. For the Ahrtal flood relief in 2021 and the Ukraine aid in 2022 we received special awards from the Deutscher Tierschutzbund.
