One voice for animal rescue

The association represents the interests of animal rescue services at the political and governmental level and influences legislative processes and decisions.

Our goal is the recognition of professional animal rescue in society, politics and legislation – so that qualified services obtain reliable operating conditions for their work.

Political level

Influencing legislative processes and decisions at state and federal level.

Governmental level

Collaboration with authorities and emergency-service organisations (BOS) such as the fire brigade, police and ambulance service.

Public recognition

Public-awareness work for the important task of rescuing, caring for and protecting animals.

Good to know

Since 2022 the association has worked in a joint operational cooperation with the Deutscher Tierschutzbund e.V. – an important step for the supra-regional recognition of animal rescue.
